Meet Jane and Get Inspired!
While it now looks like I have it all figured out, it hasn’t always been this way…
When I was twelve my parents divorced. My life was flipped upside down. Within two years my mother had moved our family from the United States to England. Before I knew it I was in an all girl’s boarding school in a tiny town on the coast of Britain. My mother thought it would be a “good experience” for me. Talk about a culture shock!
After two years I was expelled (a story for another time). I left that school with the message from the head-mistress and several of my teachers that I would never amount to anything, a lost cause. I returned to the US when I was 16. My father made arrangements for me to live with a friend of the family. I was on my own. A mother in England and a father that didn’t want to change his lifestyle for his daughter.
What do you think was going through my head? What kind of conversations do you think I was having with myself? I’m a loser, nobody wants me, I’m stupid. And, that’s putting it lightly.
I believed I would never amount to anything…
When I graduated from high school I didn’t have the grades to get into college. My friends did, they were all headed to great places, not me! It didn’t surprise me, I was living up to what everyone expected of me and what I expected of myself. I had a very clear picture in my mind of who I was and what I was capable or not capable of.
The summer after I graduated from high school I was at a complete loss as to what I was going to do. My self-esteem and confidence was at an all time low. I was fat. All the “negative messaging” I had received seemed to be playing out in my life.
One afternoon I was at a book store and there on the shelf was a book that literally changed my life. The only thing was, I didn’t realize it at the time. It was the beginning of a huge transformation in my thinking.
That book made me realize that there was another way. I didn’t have to live my life like this. I went on to study all the self-help gurus, attended countless seminars, and figured out what I needed to do to turn things around. Since then I have challenged my limitations, reached many goals and, as a result, lead a very fulfilling personal and professional life.

Though Meditations for Women all started as “therapy” for me, I want to share with you how I transformed my life and my thinking. More importantly, how YOU can do the same. It doesn’t matter what you’ve been through or where you are now I am going to tell you how to become the woman you long to be.
It’s always the same 2 things standing in the way of fulfillment…
If you want to manage yourself in a better way and change your results you can. The first step is to change your scripting. You have to override all the past negative scripting by erasing it and replacing it with positive new directions. Your internal critic must be tamed. You have to get rid of what I call “head-trash.” If you haven’t already, make sure you sign up for my Free Tame Your Internal Critic course.
The second torpedo is fear. Some of the common fears include, fear of failure, fear of being judged, fear of conflict, financial fears, fear of rejection, fear of making decisions, fear of sickness, and even fear of success. Mastering your fears will completely change your world.
These emotional roadblocks are what I worked so hard to overcome. I know you are probably hurting too, or you wouldn’t be here. If I can achieve this kind of success, so can you! Let’s get started.
